Small Business Decarbonization Program

 

The PG&E Small Business Decarbonization (SBD) Program is an exciting new pilot offered in association with the PG&E Simplified Savings Program. Its purpose is to assist small-to-medium sized, non-residential businesses adopt building electrification equipment.

Participants must meet eligibility requirements of the Simplified Savings Program, then will be evaluated to determine their fit for the electrification upgrades offered through the program.

Small Business Decarbonization (SBD) Program is designed to cover the cost of evaluating and installing recommended upgrades for its participants. Funding is provided through the Volumetric Performance Fee (VPF) established by Senate Bill 846, and pursuant to the California Public Utilities Commission Decision 24.12.033, a portion of VPF funds will be made available to advance California’s clean energy and decarbonization goals.
